    Military Scholarship Agreement

    The University of Mary's Military Scholarship is granted in support of the women and men who have given so much to their communities and their country.

    Eligibility Requirements:

    • Scholarship applicants must be currently serving military members and degree seeking students at the University of Mary, including satellite locations.
    • The scholarship will be applied to site-based and online programs for undergraduate and graduate students. 
    • Students receiving full tuition benefits from any other combination of sources will not be eligible for the University of Mary Military Scholarship.
    • The University of Mary Military Scholarship will not hold precedence over needs-based grants.
    • Students not eligible to receive military tuition assistance (TA) will not be eligible for the University of Mary Military Scholarship.
    • Individuals receiving Post – 9/11 GI Bill (Chapter 33) benefits will not be eligible for the University of Mary Military Scholarship.
    • Undergraduate students taking courses at the Main Campus are required to be of full-time status.
    • Students must be responsible for remaining tuition, expenses, and fees and must make payments within the guidelines of the University of Mary.

    Benefits:

    • Eligible undergraduate students will receive a scholarship rate not exceeding $200 per credit with a maximum of $2400 per semester.
    • Eligible graduate students will receive a scholarship rate equal to the difference between the University’s stated tuition rate per credit and military tuition assistance rate per credit.
    • Students will be charged the full tuition rate and simultaneously credited the scholarship amount.
    • Rates are subject to change at the discretion of the University of Mary.

    *University of Mary scholarships are monitored and administered by the Director of Financial Aid. Incomplete applications will be returned to the student. The scholarship may be revoked at any point, if the student’s status changes causing eligibility requirements to no longer be met.
